The house is rapidly moving towards a projected close of April 3rd. Tasks completed between February 24th and March 17th included:
- 03/02/17: Cabinetry installation was complete, except for the wet bar and the study bookcase countertop for the lowers.
- 03/04/17: Cabinetry staining was complete, except for the wet bar and study bookcase shelves.
- 03/07/17: The aerobic septic system was installed.
-03/11/17: The tile was complete, except for master tub surround and kitchen backsplashes.
-03/15/17: The granite installation was complete, except for the powder room.
-03/16/17: The plumbing fixtures were installed.
By 03/17/17, the interior of house only needed the carpet, tile kitchen backsplashes, tile master tub surround, final floor finishing, appliances, new light fixtures (nickel fixtures were mistakingly installed instead of oil rubbed bronze) and lots of touch up work primarily related to paint, millwork, and electrical switches.
Note: The nickel light fixtures in the pictures are going to be replaced with oil rubbed bronze and the straight door handles are going to be replaced with curved ones.
